The Successful Applicant
To be considered for this role it is crucial that you meet the following criteria; You will possess a tertiary qualification in within a electrical or instrumentation or automation engineering discipline. You will have a minimum of 6 years experience within a operational maintenance, and or reliability engineering role with a related industry sector, ideally with exposure to advanced mining electrical, process control and automation equipment. As a senior member within the team you will be expected to be able display a sound knowledge and practical skill in the application of reliability engineering tools and concepts such as RCA, RCM, FMECA and condition monitoring practices. You will also be expected to have a thorough understanding of asset management tools and life cycle costing techniques. You will have a thorough knowledge and appreciation for various CMMS systems, preferably SAP. Additional experience in the use of lean principles such as Six Sigma will also very advantageous.
