Applications are now sought from appropriately experienced quality professionals for multiple roles within our Maritime business located at Henderson, Western Australia. The Welding Quality Officers are responsible for assuring that all work performed within the designated projects is compliant with engineering drawings and specifications. Key duties will include, but are not limited to: • Reviewing purchase requisitions to add the quality inspections requirements for materials. • Reviewing internal and subcontracts inspection test plans and add quality inspection requirements. • Reviewing all weld procedures prior to release to production. • Reviewing all welder qualifications and adding them to the database. • Ensuring the weld procedures have been added to the database. • Monitoring the relevant welders who are assigned to a task that they are qualified to perform this. As an ideal applicant, you will have: • Previous welding inspection experience. • A relevant degree or trade related qualification. • Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under your own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality and cost. • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
