The role: Your purpose will be to provide exceptional services to both candidates and clients whilst delivering permanent recruitment. Driving new business and providing the 'best' cutting edge service to existing clients is a given.
Duties will include:
- Developing new business through a structured sales approach
- Face to face client meetings, interviews & team meetings
- Carrying out local & national marketing initiatives
- Responsible for the 'end to end' recruitment process

We are looking for Estimators who have comes from a civil or marine background with a degree in civil engineering, construction or a closely aligned field to work across a number of large projects for this client who is currently expanding at a rapid pace. They are in need of an experienced estimator who has specialized in Estimation for large port, marine and/or civil projects. This extremely large Tier 1 contractor requires an extremely competent and proven estimator to work closely with the Estimation team making sure the estimation is extremely accurate for cost estimates and technical proposals.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Analysis of tender documents
Provide input into improving policies and systems for the estimating process
Follow up and analysis of RFQs
Prepare post-submission responses to client for the clarification of matters
Review draft construction contracts for adequacy of cost and schedule requirements
Comment on proposed commercial terms of projects
Required Competencies / Skills you will have the ability to:
5 years or more experience in Construction or Building Industry or Estimation
Read and review data sheets and engineering drawings
Prepare cost estimates including marine, port works for piling, anchoring and structures
Calculate indirect cost estimates against industry benchmarks
Mentor and train others
Strong personal organisational skills
Excellent understanding of HSE regulations and standards
Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or related subjects
